Kommersant reports that Plarium, a Krasnodar-based mobile game development studio, is closing its business in Russia and is about to move some of its employees out of the country. On June 14, Plarium-South LLC sent a statement to the tax authorities about the liquidation of the legal entity.

Plarium is not the only company that is going to leave the domestic market. Game Insight also decided to close the studios operating in Russia. The local legal entity Game Insight LLC organizes the liquidation of the office in Moscow.

According to the sources of the newspaper, the owners of Game Insight will try to move the most valuable employees to Lithuania so that they continue to work on projects, while the rest will be fired. Apparently, Plarium will follow a similar path.
