The Coin Crew Games studio is happy to announce the immediate availability of their new game based on, you guessed it, escape games: Escape Academy.

A work made by fans, for fans!

Fruit of the collaboration between the studio and specialists in the discipline, Escape Academy should offer all the salt and thrill of classic escape games, but in the form of a video game! This title is therefore one of the first video games to capture the authenticity of the time pressure and the puzzle aspect of these escape games to transform them into an immersive digital experience.

Additionally, Escape Academy can be experienced solo or with friends in cooperative multiplayer mode. Players can navigate levels with their friends online on two screens, or locally with the whole team working together to achieve “Elite Escapist” status, all without leaving the comfort of their living room .

According to Wyatt Bushnell, the co-founder of Coin Crew Games, being able to create escape games in the form of a video game leaves even more room for the imagination of developers:

We set out to create an experience based on the familiar style of escape rooms, and quickly found that the digital space allowed us to create literally anything. Creating a digital escape room removes all physical constraints, there is no need to worry about player safety or whether they will rip a painting off the wall. We can just focus on creating a fun game. Let’s climb the player on a water tower that slowly fills with water or leaks gas into a room.

Finally, players who have completed the game will be able to continue their journey thanks to a Season Pass including two major expansions to come: Escape from Anti-Escape Island and Escape from the Past. Each expansion will take players on a crazy adventure with familiar faces, additional allies, and infamous scoundrels. Both DLCs will include five new escape rooms each, making a total of ten handcrafted rooms.

Escape Academy has therefore been available since July 18 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Also note that the game is integrated into Microsoft’s Game Pass.
