According to MacRumors, some custom configurations of the M2 MacBook Pro with upgraded unified memory have been backordered,Will not be delivered until August. US shipping dates for all 13-inch MacBook Pro models with the 24GB unified memory upgrade are August 3-August 10.
IT House test found that the 24GB unified memory version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro on Apple’s official website in China has been delayed until Delivery July 28-August 4also delayed until around August.
Apple has encountered supply shortages in delivering Mac products this year, which officials have said can be attributed to ongoing component shortages and manufacturing issues caused by the global pandemic.
On an earnings call in April, Apple CFO Luca Maestri said that ongoing supply issues are expected to affect the Q3 2022product sales. Apple experienced supply problems in the fiscal second quarter and expects those problems to worsen later in the fiscal year.
Apple has yet to announce a release date for the M2 MacBook Air.
