Higher winds have fanned the flames of a forest fire burning about 70 kilometres south-west of Berlin. Some 20 people from villages in the area have been evacuated, with others informed of an imminent evacuation. Earlier a fire brigade spokesperson said the wildfire’s area had spread to “around 100 to 110 hectares.” The fire had spread “towards the south/south-east,” the spokesperson said.
