Obsidian is one of the studios that knows how to surprise players. Previously known for Star Wars: KOTOR 2, Fallout: New Vegas or The Outer Worldsa small studio team is at work on a new title. Grounded, currently available in early access, immerses you in a somewhat special survival game: you play as a child reduced to a size less than that of an ant, lost in his garden. While the title will soon be released from Early Access to have a 1.0 release in September, we’ll be able to see more of its story on an entirely different format.
An animated series Grounded!
Indeed, we learn through the site Deadline that a new project was on the way! Grounded will be adapted into an animated series in association with Waterproof Studios/SC Productions, Kinetic Media and Bardel Entertainment. We can find the writer who worked on Star Wars: Clone Wars on this adaptation: Brent Friedman! This one will work with Brien Goodrich, having worked on the games Halo.

At present, we do not know how this new series will be broadcast, nor from when. It will therefore be necessary to be patient to find this gigantic garden to explore.
