Back 4 Blood’s second expansion seems to revolve around a sect

Back 4 Blood did not become the thematic sequel Left 4 Dead as most had hoped for, but the game continues tough. In April, we got the first expansion, Tunnels of Terror, and a second expansion is also underway. We do not know when it will be released, but the developers have given us some clues as to what it may include via Twitter.

In a post, we get a picture of the four survivors outside some form of home-made, ominous fortress, with body parts hung outside. In the accompanying text, it is indicated that this is a sect and that the expansion will include the game’s fifth act. In other words, the second expansion seems to be significantly more nutritious than the first.

However, people who are still waiting for a “campaign versus” mode will have to keep waiting, as Turtle Rock announces that they have no plans to create such a mode.
