The news is denser around the next opus of football simulation, FIFA. Last episode under collaboration with the international body, FIFA 23 yesterday unveiled the stars present on the ultimate edition of the game. Unsurprisingly, at least one of them will represent the franchise on the covers of the standard editions.

Take the jacket home

Kyllian Mbappé will mark the FIFA license with his mark since he will be the face of the series for the third consecutive year. An honor to which few athletes have had the right in the past. If he is accompanied by the Australian international of Chelsea, Sam Kerr, on the jacket of the ultimate edition unveiled yesterday, he finds himself alone in two variants of the standard edition.

With the black EA Sports logo, it will be the standard so-called “next-gen” edition (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5) while the colored logo represents the standard cover of the “current-gen” versions ( Xbox One, PlayStation 4). It should be noted that Sam Kerr will be alone on the jacket of the editions sold in Australia, New Zealand, but also on Amazon. This is the first time that a professional player has the honor of a single cover in the history of the series and a source of pride for the interested party:

It’s an honor and a dream come true to be featured on the cover of FIFA 23. It’s been amazing working with Kylian and the entire EA SPORTS team. I can’t wait for fans to get their copy of the game.

Sam Kerr and Kyllian Mbappé will wear the new jerseys of their respective clubs: Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Germain. The game will be officially unveiled tomorrow, at an event streamed online featuring the very first trailer for the franchise’s latest installment.
