Reggie Fils-Aimé thinks Nintendo should exploit its Wii and GameCube catalog – Nintendo Switch

Currently in promotion for his book Disrupting the Game, Reggie Fils-Aimethe unforgettable former president of Nintendo of Americamade the rounds of the media and took the opportunity to deliver various anecdotes but also to give his opinion on the current policy of nintendo. In an interview published by CNET.comthe Regginator explained that if he had to return even for a day to his old position, he would make sure to exploit the catalog of old Nintendo consoles. For this, it would not release new mini consoles but would make the games available on nintendo-switch. Nintendo already offers N64 games through the Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack but probably not enough given the catalog of N64 games. There are also a lot of games released on gamecube and on Wii which could easily be exploited and offered to the owners of nintendo-switch.

It is true that if for years, nintendo (over)exploits the game catalog NES and Super Nintendo, for its other consoles, especially the latest ones, the firm is more cautious, sometimes encouraging fans to turn to alternative solutions. So will Nintendo eventually offer Nintendo Switch owners a wide choice of games from all its previous consoles, whether via the Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack or another system?
