The new “Forza Horizon 5 update‘ is ready and available for download. There are general improvements, new vehicle customization features, and more!
The file size is 12.22 gigabytes on the Xbox Series X. The file size may differ on the Xbox One or the PC!
Forza Horizon 5 patch notes for July 19th
General
- Made some stability and performance improvements
- Added new save recovery system. If a loss of saved data is detected, players will be presented with a pop-up window offering to restore a previous backup.
- Players will not be able to restore lost pre-Series 10 saves with this new system.
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players losing credits if their bid on the Auction House failed
- Fixed an issue where certain cars were more unstable after a physics change in Series 9 when using simulated steering
- Fixed a bug that could cause the Horizon Tour to auto-complete in the festival playlist
- Fixed the timer in Test Driver: Horizon Wilds – Off the Beaten Trail
- ANNA and VO are now affected by the Speech Volume setting
- The player character prosthetics are now consistent in the V10 story cutscenes
- Fixed a bug that could cause loud echoes in Forza Vista when opening car parts

- New Hot Wheels semi-slick racing tire compound
- Hot Wheels Spectraflame – paint with 12 color variations
