Turtle Beach seems to be quite comfortable in the gamepad market. After the Recon controller was well received at the time, another gamepad is now coming for PC and Xbox consoles.
Last year Turtle Beach introduced the “Designed for Xbox” controller Recon. Apparently it was so well received by the audience that from August 10th it will be given a new color variant with “Arctic Camo”.
But it is much more important that Turtle Beach is launching another gamepad for PC and Xbox consoles with the REACT-R. The REACT-R is supposed to offer similar features to the Recon on the whole, but is a cheaper alternative for 44.99 euros. Turtle Beach once again relies on audio features that are otherwise only known from the manufacturer’s headsets.
Xbox and Windows PC gamers can connect any wired 3.5mm headset to the REACT-R for an instant audio upgrade with Turtle Beach’s patented Superhuman Hearing tone setting. Game and chat volume controls as well as microphone mute controls are built into the controller for easy access.
Apart from that, the controller features textured grips and triggers along with rumble motors for vibration feedback. There are also two configurable shortcut keys on the back. The Turtle Beach REACT-R is available now for €44.99.
