TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted out his prediction for the next generation of Apple AirTag search tags.
Shipments of AirTag trackers have steadily continued to grow since the release of the gadget in April 2021, Kuo said. This could lead to the release of a second generation of search tags.
The analyst estimates AirTag shipments of 20 million and 35 million units in 2021 and 2022, respectively, although Apple hasn’t disclosed exact sales figures for this device category.
