To manage payments, Vueling will rely on the system set up by the airline industry, the Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP). A mechanism that will be available early next year on the airline’s website. Individuals will be able to use it to pay for their tickets with the cryptocurrency of their choice.
For the occasion, Vueling and BitPay have seen wide, since no less than 13 cryptos will be accepted, the most popular: bitcoin, ethereum, dogecoin, bitcoin cash, shiba inu… Vueling will not remain alone in this niche, since Emirates also intends to support bitcoin in the coming months.
