The first transformation failed, the PS5 host crashed, and it was scrapped. Matt succeeded in the second attempt. Maybe this is the price of science. In fact, among the removed motherboard, flash memory, power circuit, VRM and other components, only the motherboard is basically used. The replacement power supply is HP’s DP5-750RBA (750W, 12V output 62.5A), which can fully support the water cooling circuit. Matt also customized the aluminum fin frame internally, and the shell is made of expensive pure copper. When the final product is running, the CPU temperature is only 46 degrees Celsius, the video memory is 52 degrees, and the VRM is 44 degrees, which is higher than Sony .
