Expansive Worlds unveils Call of the Wild: The Angler, coming first to PC and later to Xbox and PlayStation.

Expansive Worlds, a creative division of Avalanche Studios Group and the studio behind the hit hunting game theHunter: Call of the Wild, unveils Call of the Wild: The Angler, a new open-world fishing experience.

In this game, players can explore a vast, atmospheric environment in search of the perfect fishing spot. The game can be played alone or in Online co-op mode with up to twelve players be played simultaneously.

Call of the Wild: The Angler will be available later this year for PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store and the Epic Games Store. Console versions will follow.

In Call of the Wild: The Angler, fans can embark on a journey on their own terms and hunt down trophy fish in a wilderness full of surprises in order to become the master angler. The equipment can be freely selected and the fishing knowledge can be perfected to make the adventure alone or in co-op unique.

Key features of the game:

• Atmospheric open world: In the open world, stunning fishing spots can be explored on expansive waterways by foot, boat, or 4×4. Players traverse the world at their own pace and discover winding rivers, high peaks, hidden ponds, springs and hiking trails.
• Variety of fish species: Call of the Wild: The Angler offers fans different species of fish, such as thickmouth bass and mountain whitefish, each with unique behaviors that can be studied for catching.
• Character Customization and Become Master Angler: The game offers various ways of customizing your character to become a master fisherman. Players learn expert techniques and strategies for making the best catches, build their tackle collection and have access to a wide range of rods that adapt as their reel, float, hook and lure selection grows.
• Single or Multiplayer: Fans have the option of navigating open water solo or sharing the journey with friends in online drop-in, drop-out co-op multiplayer for up to 12 players. Players can team up with other anglers and go on unforgettable expeditions together.
• Regular updates: Post-launch, Call of the Wild: The Angler will continue to offer new, unforgettable fishing experiences with regular content updates.
