DC fans can explore the largest recreation of Gotham City to date. The executive producer of “Gotham Knights” revealed this in a recent interview.
Executive Producer Fleur Marty and Game Director Geoff Ellenor spoke Game Informer about Gotham Knights. Among other things, the two developers were asked how big Gotham City will be. The answers make it clear that you can definitely look forward to a spacious game world.
“It’s easily the greatest version of Gotham portrayed in video games. The most important thing for us is density and verticality. It has many levels. The Batcycle is the means of long-distance transport,” explains Marty.
Ellenor also said a few words: “It’s quite big. I didn’t put one map on top of the other, but our Gotham is a big place. I spend a lot of my Zoom calls on the Batcycle and driving around Gotham. It’s one of the fastest and most relaxing ways to get around the city. It feels like a big place.”
Batcycle can be visually customized but not upgraded
With the Batcycle, players will be able to customize both the look and the sound. Explore the game world to unlock new colors. Because the same color philosophy was chosen for the suits of the superhero and the Batcycle, the looks can be easily combined.
Again, upgrades are not possible. All your abilities always depend on the chosen character.
In the further course of the interview, the missions were also a topic. It promises “a lot of different things” that the player has to do. Fans of action-adventures should find their way around easily.
You will encounter some quests simply by roaming the gloomy environments. But because you unlock new chapters as you progress, you’ll always know exactly where to go next.
