An immersive sim in a vampire world, does that excite you? Well we can say it, Vampire: The Masquerade 2 Bloodlines will have had us salivating for quite a while now. Remember, a first announcement in March 2019 for a release calibrated for 2020 on Xbox One, PlayStation and PC. Then a postponement for 2021, then a new one with an indefinite release window. Not to mention the dismissal of the original director and a change of developer in the process.

Very little news has reached us since, Paradox Interactive has still not revealed the identity of the new development studio. This has enough to titillate the patience of the community… And it was then that an Internet user came directly to question Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive, on the progress of the project. He responded via his Twitter account:

The game is in good hands, and we can’t wait to show you more when the time is right.

We will obviously still have to be patient to see the progress of Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, as Wester clarifies that he won’t be at PDXCon 2022 either:

Will he be at PDXCon 2022? :

Unfortunately not this time

But, we can still rejoice at the news that Vampire The Masquerade 2 Bloodlines progress well. Let them take their time, after all, as Shigeru Miyamoto said “A delayed game might be good one day, a bad game released will always be bad.”
