Tesla’s second-quarter net profit surged nearly 100% year-on-year: Musk thanked the people! Chinese market loves to buy Model 3

Tesla Motors today reported the company’s fiscal 2022 second-quarter earnings. Tesla Motors’ second-quarter revenue from its automotive business was $14.602 billion, an increase of 43% from $10.206 billion in the same period last year and $16.861 billion in the previous quarter.

Tesla Motors produced 258,580 vehicles in the second quarter, a 25% increase from 206,421 a year earlier and 305,407 in the previous quarter.

Among them, the production of Model S and Model X models was 16,411, an increase of 601% compared with 2,340 in the same period last year, compared with 14,218 in the previous quarter; the production of Model 3 and Model Y was 242,169 , an increase of 19% compared to 204,081 vehicles in the same period last year, compared to 291,189 vehicles in the previous quarter.

Tesla Motors delivered a total of 254,695 vehicles in the second quarter, up 27% from 201,304 in the same period last year and 310,048 in the previous quarter.
