German prosecutors have demanded a sentence of six years and three months for a Bundeswehr soldier accused of planning an attack and impersonating a Syrian refugee. The officer, known as Franco A under German privacy laws, is “a right-wing terrorist” who had planned to carry out attack targeting senior politicians or public figures, a prosecutor told the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court on Monday.
