PS5 gamers are digging deep to beautify the console

The optics of the PS5 met with criticism from the fans right from the start. Fortunately, there are now enough options to change the look of the console. A PlayStation player has now reached into his wallet twice to give his PS5 a very special look.

The white spaceship look of the PS5 still annoys many PlayStation fans a year and a half after the release and caused numerous memes on the Internet at the time. It is therefore hardly surprising that shortly after the console was launched, there were already the first suppliers who specialized in the production of differently colored side panels and made a lot of money with them – but Sony was anything but enthusiastic about it.

In the meantime, however, the company has recognized the potential of the colorful side parts and sells them in its own shop – price point: 54.99 euros per set. PS5 players are spoiled for choice. 5 colors are available for purchase:

• Midnight Black

However, Twitter user SpawnPoiint found a monochromatic design for his PS5 too boring. Instead, he combines the side parts of two sets with each other and thus causes enthusiasm on the net:

About 1,700 Twitter users marked the tweet with a “like”. The combination of the bright pink and the bright light blue inspires the fans – especially since SpawnPoint also owns the matching colored controllers.

Two PS5 colors = double the price

The only drawback: the price. Since the side panels cannot be purchased individually from Sony, anyone wanting to copy the concept will inevitably have to buy two of the sets. Almost 110 euros are then spent on the cool color combination of the PS5 – expensive fun, but for some players it could well be worth the money.
