Baidu’s sixth-generation mass-produced unmanned vehicle Apollo RT6 released: L4-level unmanned vehicles are not afraid of complex urban roads
On July 21, Baidu held the 2022 Baidu World Conference and released the sixth-generation mass-produced unmanned vehicle, the Apollo RT6.
Based on a major breakthrough in autonomous driving technology, Apollo RT6 deeply integrates AI technology and vehicle engineering.With stronger L4-level autonomous driving capability, it has the unmanned driving capability on complex urban roads, and the cost is only 250,000 yuan, which is 1/10 of the original.
According to Baidu, the Apollo RT6 adopts the self-developed “Apollo Galaxy” architecture platform for autonomous driving.
The whole car is equipped with 38 external sensors, and the computing power can reach 1200Tops.
Baidu Apollo RT6 is a crossover vehicle in the shape of SUV+MPV and supports intelligent electric side sliding doorsIt also has the characteristics of Lingxi Lantern, keel skylight and so on.
