Presented in China last month, the new connected bracelet Xiaomi Smart Band 7 (Xiaomi Mi Band 7) has already allowed the brand to sell more than a million copies. It is now announced for France.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 has a screen 1.6 inch AMOLEDwhile the Mi Smart Band 6 previous generation benefits from a 1.56-inch display. It’s a definition of 192 x 490 pixels, resolution of 326 dpi, increased brightness of up to 500 cd / m² with manual adjustment and Always-On Display support for an always-on display.
With a hundred dials for customization, the connected bracelet allows more than 110 sports modes and benefits from automatic detection of 5 modes. Weighing 13.5 g, it is waterproof 5ATM (50 meters deep) and has a 180 mAh battery (against 125 mAh previously) that can last 14 days standby (2 hour charging time).
Without GPS for the Xiaomi Smart Band 7
The Smart Band 7 has a six-axis motion sensor, optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensor, but there’s no directly built-in GPS module. If applicable, connection to the smartphone via Bluetooth (5.2) will be required.
The connected bracelet allows sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring and SpO monitoring2 continuously. Xiaomi further adds a so-called professional VO₂ max analysis for measuring the maximum amount of oxygen a user can consume during exercise.
For sports, there are also training load, recovery time and training effect modes in order to evaluate, adjust, optimize a training program and its intensity for performance.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will be available at introductory price of €49.99 June 22-23. From June 24, it will be available for €69.99. In addition to his site, Xiaomi cites usual partners (Fnac, Baker, Amazon, Cdiscount…).
