Canalys has come up with an analysis for the mobile market, and according to them, the amount of smartphones delivered globally fell by 9 percent during the second quarter of the year compared with the same quarter last year. According to Canalys, it is mainly inflation and uncertain economic conditions that have led to the reduced deliveries.

If, on the other hand, you look at the market shares, there are two companies that, despite the reduced deliveries, are increasing their market shares. Samsung will increase from 18 percent in Q2 2021 to 21 percent in Q2 2022, and Apple will increase from 14 percent to 17 percent. In contrast, Xiaomi fell from 17 to 14 percent, Oppo including Oneplus from 11 to 10 percent, and Vivo from 10 to 9 percent.
