Toy company Mattel announced yesterday that it will begin making toys based on SpaceX’s various spacecraft.
The SpaceX toys will become part of Mattel’s Matchbox line sometime next year. There is so far no information on which of SpaceX’s craft we can see in the new Matchbox series. However, it is not entirely impossible that it is about SpaceX’s classic Falcon-9 rocket, the slightly larger model Falcon Heavy, the transport capsule Dragon and the upcoming giant Starship.
In addition to Matchbox toys based on SpaceX craft, Mattel will also begin releasing SpaceX merch and collectibles under its Mattel Creations brand. Nor is there any information about exactly what gadgets are involved.
