Since Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition left a lot to be desired, fans took care of an impressive fan remake in the Unreal Engine 5 themselves.

The initial joy about Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition quickly gave way to disillusionment after the release. Because the remaster of the three included games, GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas did not exactly cover itself with glory from a technical point of view. Some even claimed the revised versions looked worse than the original versions, which, to make matters worse, were replaced in stores until Rockstar Games backtracked.

Maybe you still remember that Fan remake of GTA: San Andreas in Unreal Engine 5. The YouTube user TeaserPlay, who was responsible for it, has now also taken on part 3 and the result looks just as terrific. Many fans probably imagined the return of the classics like this or something similar. Needless to say, this is a remake (and only a fraction of the game) and not a remaster like the Definitive Edition.

According to the video description, TeaserPlay wanted its project to demonstrate what the Unreal Engine 5 is capable of in terms of sandbox games. What do you all mean? Would you play GTA III again if it looked like this?
