Mario Götze, Germany’s hero from the 2014 World Cup triumph, is on the brink of returning to his home country having completed a medical at Eintracht Frankfurt after getting his career back on track with a spell at PSV Eindhoven. The Europa League winners Eintracht confirmed to dpa Tuesday that the 30-year-old forward Götze had passed his medical, after it was reported by the Bild paper.
