In 2010, Peugeot launched the 408. It was then a four-door, completely standard sedan model. It will be different now when the new 408 is presented. It is now a crossover coupe, which is obviously exciting because some of them are not already on the market (irony). Unique appearance, innovative fastback silhouette and uninhibited elegance are the words Peugeot themselves use to describe the car. This one ends up in the C-segment and measures 4.69 meters in length, 1.48 in height and has a wheelbase of 2.78 meters. However, this is not a creation of its own, but Peugeot’s version of the Citroën C5 X.
From the start, you can get the car with a standard three-cylinder petrol engine with 130 horses or two different plug-in hybrids – one that offers 180 horses and a stronger one that is 225 horses. How far the charging hybrids will go on a charge is not said now. The citron with the same driveline, however, comes between 5-6 miles. Later on, a fully electric version of the model will also be offered.
Production takes place in Mulhouse, France, and at the beginning of next year, the first copies will begin to be delivered to customers. We have not yet received any awards.

Citroën presents the C5 X
Mix between three types of cars
Citroën has now presented the C5 X, a car that is a little difficult to place. They themselves say that it is a “unique combination of the elegance of a saloon, the dynamism of a station wagon and the elevated stance of an SUV”. Or simply a slightly beefier and slimmer station wagon with a bit of forest soil ambitions. The car is the brand’s new flagship and you are proud of the new active dampers and the car’s new seats that will give a really nice ride. They have also put a little energy into controlling the technology, better heads-up display and a large screen of 12 twelve is found in the front seat. It will have a sales premiere during the second half of 2021 and then you will be able to choose between petrol and plug-in hybrid. No diesel seems to be coming. The hybrid produces 225 horses and should be able to drive 50 km on electricity alone.
