Now you can watch YouTube directly on Apple Watch, thanks to the WatchTube app. The app can be downloaded from watchOS App Store and requires no input from an iPhone to be able to get started. The app on the watch has four sections: Home, Search, Library and Settings.
It should even be possible to subscribe to channels, however, the app is not linked to the user’s Google account, so these only apply to the watch.
According to the WatchTube developer, a future update will add a sound mode so you can listen to songs from YouTube without having to keep the Apple Watch screen on.
