In Monday’s match between 1. FC Köln and AC Milan, two of the players wore body cameras during the match. In the clip below, we get to follow Timo Hübers and Tim Lemperles as they play ball.
The match, which was part of the Telekom Cup, ended 2-1 to Milan. Olivier Giroud scored a really nice goal which in the film above we get to see from Timo Hüber’s perspective, later we get to see Tim Lemperle celebrating a goal. I really hope this becomes standard during live broadcasts as well, the perspective is a bit magical.
Below you can see the perspective mixed with some other highlights from the match, among other things we get to see a fantastic goal by the club’s goat and the vest with the camera that the players had. Seems quite flexible. One player even wore a microphone during the match.
