Stunlock Studios has a new hotfix update for V Rising released. We show you what the new patch contains.

The new client patch for V Rising can be downloaded and installed now, via Steam. In addition to some bug fixes, there are also new features.

V Rising Steam Update 0.5.42236

NEW FEATURES
  • A new admin command ” decayusercastles ‘ was added, which causes all castles owned by a target player to decay.
  • The files adminlist.txt and banlist.txt are now loaded from both the default settings folder and the local override settings folder. These files are now always stored in the local override folder.
TROUBLESHOOTING
  • Fixed a crash that could occasionally occur when destroying castles.
  • Fixed an issue where you could sometimes crash another player’s client by using the console command ” claninvite ‘ targeted if you weren’t in a clan.
  • Fixed an issue where you could duplicate items by reviving and killing minions in a specific way.
  • The RCON socket now binds to the bind address if specified. There is also a specific RCON bind address to override the default address. For more details, see the documentation for the dedicated server .
GENERAL
  • Wood, Stone, and Plant Fiber no longer prevent players from using Gates or Bat Forms.
