In mid-July, TSMC pointed out in the corporate presentation,The 3nm process will be mass-produced in the second half of this year, and contribute revenue in the first half of 2023; the enhanced 3nm process will be mass-produced one year after 3nm mass production. The 3nm and enhanced 3nm processes are mainly used in smartphones and high-performance computing.
IT House has learned that it is reported that TSMC is also actively deploying 2nm,It is expected to enter risky trial production in 2024 and mass production in 2025.
In terms of supply chain inventory, TSMC previously pointed out that the supply chain began to reduce inventory in the second half of this year, and the phenomenon of excessive inventory will take several quarters to adjust and return to a healthier level.Likely to last until the first half of 2023.
