The Chinese gadget manufacturer Honor has introduced a 5G version of the budget smartphone Honor X8. We collected all the most important things about the new product.
The Honor X8 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and an 8MP selfie camera cutout. There are three cameras on the back: a 48MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The smartphone received a Snapdragon 480+ chipset, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with support for 22.5 W fast charging.
Other features of the novelty include a fingerprint scanner on the side, support for two SIM cards, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
In comparison, the Honor X8 4G launched in March features a larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate, 16MP front camera, 64+5+2MP triple rear cameras, Snapdragon 680 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, as well as a 4000 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 22.5 W.
Pricing for the Honor X8 5G has yet to be revealed, but it is already known that the smartphone will go on sale in early August in some countries.
