Aloy’s motion capture actress said she was “ready for some mocap action” on Instagram. Another post features her and actor Louis Van Beek, who also starred in Horizon Forbidden West.

Peggy Vrijen was responsible for Aloy’s action-packed moves and attack patterns in Horizon Forbidden West. Now she has returned to her work as a motion capture actress. on Instagram She sports a signature mocap outfit, writing, “Ready for some mocap action.”

Motion capture work included

Just a day earlier, Vrijen posted a picture of herself and actor Louis Van Beek. The description said: “A small mocap with my dear colleague.” Because of these two posts, some fans suspect Redditthat a DLC for the current “Horizon” offshoot is in development.

For info: Actress Ashly Burch was only responsible for Aloy’s voice and appearances in the cutscenes. The daring animations of the machine hunter were recorded by the Dutch stun woman. In fact, about 90 percent of the movements come from Vrijen. Basically, the makers don’t want to risk injuring an important actor, because in such a case the shooting would have to be interrupted.

A story extension to “Horizon Forbidden West” would not be a surprise. After all, the first part with “Frozen Wilds” also received a DLC, which was released around eight months later. And the ending left enough room for more stories. Theoretically, you could dive into the Forbidden West again this year.

There is already an idea for Aloy’s next adventure: there is a mysterious castle in a remote part of the game world. This location could play a role in the putative expansion.

Alternatively, the two actors could also work on the VR title “Horizon: Call of the Mountain”. Although Aloy isn’t the main character there, she could still have a supporting role.
