At San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first full trailer for Shazam 2: Wrath of the Gods. The debut video showed the main villains of the tape and something else.
The plot of the sequel will continue the story of a teenager Billy Batson and his adoptive brothers and sisters, who received the powers of the heroes of the ancient world and the ability to turn into superhumans. This time around, children who can grow up with the help of magic will face the villainous sisters Hespera and Calypso. Their on-screen roles will be played by Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu from Charlie’s Angels and Elementary.
Shazam 2: Wrath of the Gods will premiere on December 16, 2022. At the end of April, the trailer was shown to the press at CinemaCon, and now it has been released publicly.
