Earlier this year, Apple TV+ announced that its first UK production, Trying, would return in July for a third season. Now, the company has released a new trailer to tease the show’s third season ahead of its release on the streaming platform.

The Try tells the story of British couple Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) who face the difficult process of adopting a child. The show combines a good dose of comedy with drama as it features not only the couple’s troubles but also funny moments between them, their families and personal friends.

Now in its third season, “The Try” sees the main couple getting closer than ever to finally adopting a child, but it won’t be easy.

Trying was created by Andy Walton and produced by BBC Studios. The show is Apple TV+’s attempt to offer content that goes beyond traditional Hollywood productions. Here’s how Apple describes it:

The Apple TV+ and BBC Studios comedy series The Try, starring SAG nominee Rafe Spall, starring BAFTA nominee Esther Smith and writer Andy Walton, follows a couple in their thirties and their friends as they learn to grow up, settle down and find someone who can be loved.

The first episode of the third season of Trying will premiere on Apple TV+ on July 22, with a new episode each week after that. Each episode is 30 minutes long. If you haven’t watched The Trials, seasons one and two are now available to Apple TV+ subscribers.

In the US, an Apple TV+ subscription costs $4.99 per month for six people. Apple TV+ is available on Apple devices, select Smart TVs, PlayStation, Xbox, and other streaming devices.
