Brazil’s former Barcelona right back Dani Alves has joined Mexico’s Pumas at the age of 39. A video put out by the club on Saturday showed him signing a contract. Media reports say it is for one year. Alves, who also played for Bahia, Sevilla, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Sao Paulo, left Barca for a second time in mid-June. He played 408 games for the Spanish giants and won three Champions Leagues. He has not officially retired from the Brazil national team and led them to Olympic success last year.
