Yesterday, June 23, 2022, we informed you that the Lost Ark June update not until next week on the live servers. Today, Amazon Games’ freshly released team update revolved around the reasons for the postponement. There was also a preview of new features, gifts and shop updates. We’ll bring you up to date.
That’s why the June update is being postponed
Actually, it was the plan that this week we could already throw ourselves into new content such as the fights against the legion commander Vykas and the guardian Kungelanium or the challenges in the solo dungeon Throne Spire. But there were several factors that led to the postponement:
- The developers had decided to bring the fortress research, which is very popular with the community, to the live servers with the June update (more on the feature later).
- The fight against bots has consumed a lot of time in the last few days and weeks.
- One feature, Yoz’s Pitcher, received such negative feedback that after a review, developers and publishers have decided to remove this content for now.
What is Yoz’s pitcher?
This content is a game system designed to provide you with cosmetic items. Specifically, a variety of epic skins and two legendary character skins beckon for each advanced class. However, the Epic and Legendary skins are not purely cosmetic. They provide you with a small value increase, which in turn increases your character strength.
Although the epic and legendary Yoz’s jar skins were available to all with crystals and via the player market, the data collected and feedback so far have indicated that these skins would fetch exorbitant gold prices. However, the developers want to avoid that players feel like they have to invest enormous sums in these small stat increases.
From June 30, 2022 we can challenge Raid boss Vykas in Lost Ark.

What is Stronghold Research?
Stronghold research allows you to get other characters to item level 1415 much more easily once you have an item level 1460 character. There should be more information about this when the official patch notes are published on June 29, 2022 at the latest.
Gifts for all players
The developers want to thank players for their patience and celebrate the launch of the Wrath of the Greed Legion update. As? With gifts! Each player will receive a growth support pack containing the following:
- Destruction Stone Selection Pouch x5 – which allows one of these options to be selected from each chest:
- Tier 1 – Destruction Stone Fragment (Bound) x1000
- Tier 2 – Destruction Stone (Bound) x1000
- Tier 3 – Destruction Stone Crystal (Bound) x200
- Watchstone Selection Pouch x12 – which allows one of these options to be selected from each chest:
- Tier 1 – Watchstone Fragment (Bound) x1000
- Tier 2 – Guardian Stone (Bound) x1000
- Tier 3 – Guardian Stone Crystal x200
- Enhance Choice Chest x10 – which allows one of these options to be selected from each chest:
- Tier 1 – Harmony Shard Pouch (L) x3
- Tier 2 – Life Fragment Pouch (L) x3
- Tier 3 – Honor Fragment Pouch (L) x1
In addition, each player will receive a Mokoko Skin Selection Chest! Pick your favorite and battle Vykas, Kungelanium, and the Demon Legions in Throne Spire. These gifts will be made available after the weekly downtime and update on June 30th.
Planned shop updates
The upcoming June update should also include some new shop items. For players looking forward to changing their outfit, the developers are adding new cosmetic items: the Shadows of the Star Collection and the Umar Collection.
New skins are coming to the shop with the June update of Lost Ark.

Growth Support Packs, which contain buff materials, will also be added to the shop to provide players with a consistent offering against the changing buff materials currently available in Mari’s Secret Shop. Each pack will be available in the in-game shop for one month and can only be purchased once per customer. The full details and content of the packages are planned to be revealed in upcoming release notes.
