The night before today, Marvel held a box at San Diego Comic Con where, among other things, they showed a bunch of new trailers and revealed premiere dates for the movies and the series that make up the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
A lot of exciting things, of course, but what I’m probably most looking forward to here is of course more Loki but also Daredevil, which starts in the spring of 2024. This new season will consist of 18 episodes and cover Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli’s classic story Daredevil: Born Again which is about when Karen Page reveals that Matt Murdock is Daredevil. As you know, the third season of the Netflix series Daredevil was also based on Born Again, which suggests that this series on Disney+ will be a fresh start instead of a continuation. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return for Daredevil as well as the Kingpin, however, it is unclear if any of the other actors from Netflix’s Daredevil will return.

In addition to these titles, these films and series will also be released at some point, but it is currently unclear when they will appear.

If you are now wondering where the Fantastic Four are, you can put this question to rest by now knowing that that movie will kick off phase six of the MCU on November 8, 2024. Phase six of the MCU will also include two new Avengers movies Avengers: The Kang Dynasty which premieres on May 5, 2025 and Avengers: Secret Wars which releases on November 7, 2025
