By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) — Older Americans produced the vast majority of political Tweets on the social platform, showing the draw of Twitter for active political discourse. A recent analysis from the Pew Research Center found that one-third of all tweets are political in nature. Americans older than 50 make up only 24 percent of all Twitter users, but they produce about 80 percent of political tweets, the center found.
