Halo Infinite Support is responding to an issue with multiplayer matches downloading more data than usual. According to reports, up to one gigabyte should be possible per match.
Normally, a match should only cost a fraction
User Nicmeistar reports that the game client consumes between 305 and 900 MB of data after each match. That might not sound like much, but it can become a big problem, especially for those who play with a fixed data plan.
After further inspection I found that an average match only uses about 11mb.

Halo Support then wrote that the team was already investigating the reports. In August, an improvement in the additionally downloaded data in the client is to be brought to the players via an update. What exactly leads to this high amount of data is not yet clear.

Players already dissatisfied with Halo Infinite took the opportunity to complain about the many issues that 343 Industries has yet to fix.
