Arceus – Mean player smashes his Pikachu into a rock

Your Pokémon can help you collect materials in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. A particularly mean (or clumsy?) player knocked out the poor pocket monster in the process.

The long-awaited action-RPG Pokémon Legends: Arceus has been entertaining brave trainers who are busy filling the first Pokédex of the Hisui region for several weeks now. The new features not only include large areas that you can explore freely, as well as roaming pocket monsters, but also the opportunity to create your own to craft your own items.

To do this, you simply have to throw your Pokémon in their balls at the materials you want to have mined. A player with a particularly strong throwing arm however, something incredibly brutal happened. But see for yourself:

He throws Pikachu against the rock, causing it to immediately pass out on impact. In the lower right corner you can see that it was healthy before the litter – Ouch!

What’s behind the clip?

As funny as the clip is, according to the comments below the TikTok video, there is one certain game mechanics behind. The stone in the clip has no materials for the player to collect. When Pokémon are thrown into trees or even rocks like that, they usually just come out of their Poké Balls to interact with you.

So the reason Pikachu is on the ground here is because it just sleeping. It probably had only a few life points left and is therefore resting. However, when it hits a giant rock, the scene looks more like a murder of the little electro mouse than like it’s fast asleep.

The only thing that speaks against this explanation is that suddenly graying icon. Normally, players only see this when a Pokémon is knocked out.
