Hurdler Tobi Amusan and pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis set new world records in a busy last day of action at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday. Amusan smashed the women’s 100 metre hurdles world record clocking 12.12 seconds in the semi-finals before bettering herself with 12.06s in the final to win a maiden gold for Nigeria in the discipline.
