Will the sports game be discontinued anytime soon?

Recently released sports game Roller Champions could be the next game to be discontinued by Ubisoft according to the latest rumours. The title was originally revealed at E3 2019 and released on May 25, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC and Nintendo Switch.

Well-known journalist and insider Jeff Grubb was a guest on the XboxEra podcast last weekend and spoke about the title being said to be discontinued soon.

Will Roller Champions join the discontinued games?

Jeff Grubb also talked about “Roller Champions” in the latest edition of the XboxEra Podcast. According to a source, the free-to-play title will be discontinued after its third season. No further information is known about this at this time, but according to Grubb it should be “breaking news”.

After the presentation in 2019, “Roller Champions” was actually intended for a release in 2021, but had to be postponed to 2022. The sports game was then released on May 25th, but was not particularly promoted by Ubisoft. However, “Roller Champions” can hardly attract viewers on the Twitch streaming platform.
