Monster Hunter, Formula 1 and iconic cartoon action

The coming week is going to be fast, monstrous, and there’s a noticeable focus on expansions. Because soon three exciting games will be considered with new content.

DNF Duel | June 28th

The beat ’em up roleplaying game Dungeon Fighters Online will probably not be known to everyone right away, but let me tell you that it is one of the most played games in the world. With DNF duel there is now an offshoot that sees itself as a fighting game and comes from Arc System Works. Among other things, they are for Dragon Ball FighterZ or the BlazBlueseries known.

DNF Duel is quite classic: expecting you 16 different fighters, a story mode, as well as local matches and also online opportunities. The developers remain true to themselves and rely on a 2.5D look that is stylistically quite convincing.

At the time of release, DNF Duel will only appear for the PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It is still unclear whether the Xbox consoles and the Nintendo Switch will also be served at a later date.

Outriders: Worldslayer | June 30th

With Worldslayer the first major expansion for outriders. And in terms of content, at least on paper, it definitely offers fodder for many more action-packed hours. For example, there is a new campaignwhich you can contest again either alone or in co-op mode.

With Ereshkigal you will encounter a new antagonist who, like your character, has received supernatural powers. However, she has something else in mind with her power and you have to stop her. In order for this to work, you rely on them Firepower of new weapons, on improved equipment and some more.

Of course, there are no surprises when it comes to the expansion. Outriders: Worldslayer will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak | June 30th

Let’s stay on the subject of expansion: Also Monster Hunter Rise gets with sunbreak its first major expansion, which takes you into a new area. As soon as you get there, you get to know the so-called “Three Lords”. These are anomalies of Malzeno, Lunagaron and Garangolm, which are particularly powerful.

Before you face these powerful monsters, however, it is important first to get new equipment, to pursue a whole new set of quests and find your way around the new area. In addition, your rope beetle will be more useful, because it now gets skills for all 14 different weapon types. Last but not least, Sunbreak offers a few more detail improvements.

Unlike the release of the main game, the Sunbreak extension is now released directly for the PC and the Nintendo Switch. All other platforms continue to get nothing.

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course | June 30th

It took almost five years, but now the release is just around the corner: Of course we are talking about the DLC The Delicious Last Course for Cuphead. The not exactly simple platformer with a focus on boss fights thus receives a new chapter in the form of the so-called Inkwell Island.

New skills await you there and they probably hardest boss so far by Cuphead. But at the same time, Tassilo and Pottkopp also get support from the new character Fräulein Kelch.

At release, The Delicious Last Course will serve all platforms where Cuphead is already available. In detail, that means PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

F1 22 | July 1

While in reality the current Formula 1 season has been running for a few months, Codemasters and Electronic Arts won’t start until July. F1 22 offers the license package that has been used for years, which includes all current racing teams, drivers and tracks.

Among the new things this year is a Virtual reality mode and F1 Life. The latter allows you to live your life as an F1 star in the lap of luxury, i.e. you can set up your own apartment and buy expensive luxury cars. With the latter you can even drive on the race tracks. However, last year’s story mode will not be continued in F1 22.

The release of F1 22 will also take place this year for the five well-known platforms. So you can start on the PC as well as on the two PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

The end of June and the beginning of July are mainly characterized by expansions: If you have already spent a lot of time with Outriders or Monster Hunter, you can soon invest even more playing time. Alternatively, Formula 1 is also calling for you.
