Poll: do you believe in the release of a new Nintendo Direct on Wednesday? -Nintendo Switch

Every yearfans of video games and more particularly of nintendo are waiting for the broadcast of a Nintendo Direct allowing to have a clearer vision of the games arriving in the next six months. It is true that for the moment, the game release schedule nintendo to come is still unclear.

NINTENDO DIRECT OR NOT NINTENDO DIRECT? THAT IS ALWAYS THE QUESTION!

We know that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 arrived July 29 (see here)that Splatoon 3 spell September 9 (see here) and Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Purple will be here Ith November 18 (see here) But what are the exclusives planned for August, October and December 2022 ? And where have they gone Bayonetta 3 and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope ? Are they still planned This year ? Not to mention the Zelda game of 2022– usually every year, there is a Zelda title (why Nintendo would deprive itself of exploiting such an important exclusive license ?

With all that, not to mention third-party games and even “surprise” games, nintendo inevitably has enough to fill a Nintendo Direct. Besides, if theE3the big video game fair was held This year early June – as is usually the case, nintendo would have already given us a Nintendo Direct. Only, there was no E3 in 2022 and nintendo therefore did not need to present a showcase of its upcoming titles to players but also to professionals. However, if Nintendo was not required to model its communication on the dates of E3, the company can still very well publish a Nintendo Direct mid-year. Only the month of June is now coming to an end and there is therefore only one alternative: either nintendo prepared a Live for Wednesday, June 29 (at 4 p.m. or 6 p.m., depending on the format) or you will have to wait a little longer, perhaps even until the start of the school year, and settle for micro-events during the summer.

In our previous news (read HERE), we reminded you how Nintendo had managed its communication in 2020, a year, already without E3 and punctuated by various micro-events. Throughout the summer, there had been:

Ultimately, summer 2020 had been rich enough even though the players hadn’t stopped waiting with no less than three Direct Mini: Partner Showcase ! Knowing that with nintendovery often history repeats itself, one can wonder if 2022 will be treated as 2020 with a bunch of different events rather than a grouped event. So of course, there are different clues, noises from the corridors, rumours, incantations… We can sweep them away with the back of the hand, and tell ourselves that we’ll see… But at the same time, it must not forget that this is an integral part of the life of a fan of Nintendo games. Getting excited about nothing, hoping for big announcements or even being impatient to discover new titles… If you’re starting to get bored, it’s a bad sign.
