While the next Call of Duty caused a stir last June following its official reveal, the news has become calm again around the game from Activision and Infinity Ward. The few information shared by insiders mentioned the multiplayer maps or even the assets and other killstreaks, but it will be necessary to wait for the next formalizations from Activision. Until then, Tom Henderson is continuing to investigate and it looks like he has some new information for us regarding Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and multiplayer.

Multiplayer mode potentially revealed in early September

This is what the famous journalist and insider Tom Henderson explained to us in his last article published on TryHard Guides. While some rumors suggested that the multiplayer mode could show up soon, it seems that we finally have to wait until the start of the school year to see the first snippets of the next Call of Duty’s multiplayer.

This time frame would make sense and coincide with previous reveals of Black Ops Cold War multiplayer modes on September 9, 2020, and Vanguard on September 7, 2021.

In addition, some rumors mentioned the arrival of the beta during the month of September and it would be logical to discover the multiplayer mode during the same period. Some Tom Henderson sources have more specifically confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will have a beta in the middle and end of September.

As always, nothing is official, everything is subject to change and we once again urge you to take a step back from this information until no confirmation from Activision and Infinity Ward has been made. We can nevertheless expect a month of September loaded with revelations for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II.
