After being launched in China last December, then undergoing testing in the West in April, Tower of Fantasy should finally be launched in Western version on August 11th.
Whether Tower of Fantasy has already been available in China since December 2021 (with some success since the game claimed a turnover of 80 million dollars there after one month of operation), the cross-platform MMO is now also expected in West. We remember that the Hotta studio had announced a launch during the third quarter of this year and since then, especially on social networks, players have been impatient to discover the release date of the title.
Hotta Studios therefore lends itself to a little game with its community to announce the release date of Tower of Fantasy: a tweet refers to a specific page from the official site evoking a communication (obviously scrambled) with the planet Aida which serves as a framework for the game universe. After a short animation, the image flashes. The savviest have recognized a coded message in Morse code revealing the release date, obviously set for August 11 – without it being a very big surprise since it was also the release date mentioned on the AppStore.
Until then, pre-registration remains open on the official website (some three million curious people have already pre-registered). For its part, Hotta Studios is taking the opportunity to polish the Western version of Tower of Fantasy and announces that the actress Tomatsu Haruka will lend her voice to the character Nemesis, both presented as the Angel of Mercy in the game and a ruthless killer when she is under the mental control of the Sage. For the record, Tomatsu Haruka has already dubbed many characters fromanime or video games, such as Asuna in Sword Art Online.
