Microsoft’s new Starfield trailer has caused a stir among longtime Bethesda fans – with some in the Skyrim community saying they spotted a reference to The Elder Scrolls 6 in the trailer.

After several years of waiting, Bethesda fans finally got their hands on it to see the first gameplay scenes from Starfield. In addition, some additional information about the sci-fi RPG was also revealed, such as the playing time of the main story.
But not only fans of the upcoming Bethesda space hits were amazed by the video shown – Skyrim players were also aware of it, as a current Reddit thread shows. In Starfield’s gameplay trailer there are various panoramas of different planets to see – and one of them seems to remind the The Elder Scrolls community a lot of the landscape of The Elder Scrolls 6 teaserwhich Bethesda showed at E3 2018.

Mountains and grass – but that’s where the similarities between the image from Starfield and the teaser stop.
Will Bethesda Hide TES 6 Easter Eggs in Starfield?
The post has now nearly 1,800 upvotes – and the comments below the thread are also hot. The fans are busy speculating whether Bethesda will hide some references to the Skyrim successor in the sci-fi RPG.

But not every fan sees a desired connection on the part of Bethesda between the two games. Reddit user lidskemasicko has one also a plausible explanation for the slight resemblance of the two scenes:
“Yes, they could have created the TES:VI showcase terrain with Starfield assets.”
