NASA’s Perseverance rover unveils its latest discovery: a noodle-like object found on Mars. Explanations.
This string-shaped object that almost looks like noodles is unidentified. According to specialists, it is likely to be NASA space debris, left by the Perseverance rover on Mars on its way to its arrival in 2021.
This isn’t the first time she’s come across NASA trash. Indeed, last June the rover found a piece of thermal blanket, formerly attached to the rocket-powered jet pack that landed Perseverance on its landing day in 2021.
Object in the form of noodles, piece of thermal blanket and the famous stone that traveled on board for 120 days: Perseverance is particularly busy collecting a variety of precious objects from the Jezero crater, region of the red planet. Scientists hope the recovered rock material can offer them clues as to whether or not Mars once hosted microbial life.
