Understanding the internal organization of Japanese publishers is often complicated. Among Westerners, things are generally quite simple, since the developments are distinguished by different studios. But on the archipelago, all the staff are usually together, and divided into different teams that are not really fixed. This is the case of Square, which nevertheless at the time of the Super Nintendo grew to the point of multiplying the projects managed by different groups.
