Fortnite and wrestling fans will once again get their money’s worth in Epic Games’ long-running hit, because it has now been announced that John Cena will be the next star to make the leap to the famous Battle Royale island.
Wrestling star John Cena is the next well-known character to appear in Fortnite. Epic Games has now announced a corresponding outfit in two variants that will show the 16-time WWE World Champion in the Battle Royale hit. The promotion is part of Epic’s Summer Slam event.
As mentioned, there are two outfit combinations for John Cena: the “Before the match” style and the “In the ring” style. Both will be available in the item shop starting July 29th at 12:00 p.m. ET.
The outfits are joined – as usual – by other items and accessories. As part of the John Cena set, there will also be the WWE Championship Title Back Bling (included with the outfit), the Five Finger Slap Pickaxe, and the John Visible Emote.
Cena, who is now also a fairly established actor outside of his wrestling career, was seen as Peacemaker in the 2021 edition of “The Suicide Squad”. He succeeds Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a WWE Superstar featured in Fortnite, who previously made the leap to the Epic title.
Even in midsummer there is of course a lot to offer in the long-running Fortnite.
